CQSRG Monitoring network

CQSRG (pronounced CQ Surge) operates the North Burnett Seismic Network (NBSN). This network consists of two monitoring stations, but is being expanded as and when equipment and funding is available. The two current stations are located at Horse Camp (south west of Gin Gin, Queensland), and Woowoonga, (north east of Biggenden).

Four Seasons Monitoring Station.

The Four Seasons seismic monitoring station is registered with the International Seismological Centre as FS03 (that's FS zero three, not FS oh three). Technical details for the station are provided on a separate page.

It is located 16 km SW of Gin Gin, and 14 km WSW of Wallaville, as shown in the accompanying image, at Latitude -25.1068 and Longitude 151.8667.

Woowoonga Monitoring Station.

The Woowoonga seismic monitoring station is registered with the International Seismological Centre as WOOW. Technical details for the station are provided on a separate page.

It is located 5 km NE of Biggenden, as shown in the accompanying image, at Latitude -25.4755 and Longitude 152.0799.
